What causes boils? I mean do we really know. I am asking because if you go to the doctor a million freaking times because boils keep reappearing, then it’s more than an ingrown hair problem. The doctor will give you antibiotics or you can treat the boil with a hot pack and drain it if it’s a small boil. Larger boils may need to be lanced by your doctor. However, the issue is why do these boils keep appearing every couple of months? There’s a bigger problem that you or your doctor are not addressing.
